Money Crashers Website Design Case Study

Web Design that's easy to use and builds trust!

Introduction

Money Crashers is a personal finance website that provides readers with information on how to manage their money effectively. The goal of this Figma case study is to redesign the homepage of Money Crashers to improve the user experience and increase engagement.

Research & Analysis

We began by conducting a thorough analysis of Money Crashers' existing website and their competitors in the personal finance industry. We found that the website's design was outdated and cluttered, which made it difficult for users to navigate and find the information they were looking for.
We also conducted user interviews and surveys to better understand the needs and preferences of Money Crashers' target audience. We found that users in the personal finance industry were interested in a clean, organized design that made it easy to find the information they needed.

Design & Development

With this information in mind, we created a new design for Money Crashers' homepage using Figma. We used a clean, white background and a simple, minimalist design to create a modern, streamlined look that would be easy for users to navigate.
We organized the site's content into clear, easy-to-read sections, with prominent calls to action that encouraged users to explore further. We also included a prominent search bar at the top of the page to make it easy for users to find the information they needed.
To improve the site's engagement, we included interactive elements such as quizzes and polls that allowed users to engage with the content and share their opinions. We also included social media sharing buttons to make it easy for users to share content they found interesting with their networks.

Results

The final result was a sleek, modern website that effectively communicated Money Crashers' brand identity and mission. The site's clean, organized design and intuitive navigation made it easy for users to find the information they needed, and the interactive elements encouraged users to engage with the content and share their opinions.
The new design also improved the site's engagement metrics, with users spending more time on the site and sharing more content on social media. Overall, the redesign helped Money Crashers establish a stronger online presence and attract new readers who were interested in their personal finance advice.
